From the knowledge & persistence from a fried, I began eating gluten-free. Within 3 days of eating that way,I was pain free. After eating gluten-free food several Months eating my regular gluten-free diet, I
feel horrible.
I also have the pain every day, I call it my MS worm, it migrates, today it is my left shoulder that feels like it is on fire, also suffer from exhaustion, nobody actually understands what it feels like to be so tired you can cry. I still work full day and sometimes wish my Neuro would medically board me, but then I will be stuck at home, cleaning, I am slightly OCD and have a husband and daughter who are both ADHD, so will basically kill myself cleaning.
Pain, I mix my own meds, it sounds weird, but I try and take Ibuprofen, Codien and Paracetamol at the same time, it seems to take the edge off a little. For Nerve pain, I take Lyrica.
As for the exhaustion, I have told my Neuro several times. He tells me to stay away from caffeine, I ignore him, either he boards me, or I have to drink my "Gummy Berry Juice" in order to survive working full day.
Maybe chat to your Neuro to look at different meds, Lyrica is prescribed for Fybro, but works wonders.
Good Luck and lots of HUGS
I found when I lived at home a lot of pain was caused from muscles spasm one of the biggest things that helped was using aero Pilates table it is the best workouts I have ever done it really helps to stretch your muscles and open up your joints it is a very easy exercise very low impact I found the amounts I could do each day differed when I was walking outside I found it hard to gauge how far to go you wanted to push yourself but you have to make it home
using the Pilates table if I was having a bad day I could stop and I was at home
I found some supplements help magnesium calcium vitamin D manganese a multivitamin
I also had to take baclofen
for the nerve pain I was in it felt like I was being scalded by hot water they put me on gabapentin I did find after a while I did need to go on painkillers
I find there is that mental component that you have to accept the pain is there I found reading helped me bear it I found I could lose myself in the book
another thing that help is to set the pain away from myself calling it the pain not my pain
over time you do it use to being in pain and it seems easier to bear
I also found journaling helps a great deal to get out the feelings of anger
also find some ways to pamper yourself take time for yourself whether it is a hot bath with bath salt or smelly soap
write a list of all the things that you think would be ways to take care of yourself small treats
some time the only way to take care of yourself is to take the painkillers if the pain is able to get out of control it will take more painkillers to get it under control
it has something that every individual has too find out what works for them
wishing you good luck in your journey
sending hugs take care of you
