Darling, as you can see, you are SINGING TO THE CHOIR!!! I think we all have heat issues... The nice folks at Shared Solutions just sent me two cooling neck-wrap thingies that REALLY HELP on my farm!!!

I also always have a fan blowing on me pulling air from my AC. Plus, lately, my sports bra has been my shirt--not too pretty, but COOL! xoxoxo Cj (Cindyjo)

All I can say is thank God for A/C!!!! It was a long cold winter here and I am not going to complain because I have been waiting for this for so long.....YIKES!

I can soak up the vitamin D anywhere from 10 min to half an hour depending on the temp and humidity and how much water is left in my spray bottle! :) Wish I had a pool!

I always carry my phone with me in case my legs stop working completly and can't get back in the house!

me too - I can hardly go out to peruse the garden my husband is growing... but I just got myself a 'tie' that you soak in water for 20 minutes, and then the crystals inside swell, and hold the water. I wrap it around my neck, and it keeps my neck cold, which is where I get very hot it seems. Lasts about 24 hours, so it is great!

I have problems with heat too, but get different symptoms. I have never had any issues with my eyesight, but my legs get numb and i get fatigued really bad. Even though I'd love to be out enjoying the summer... i can't always do it. Do what you can to keep cool this summer !!!

I'm invited to a home on the 4th but they are christening their new patio which is on the western side of the home (out on a farm) and these people LOVE the outdoors, so I am deliberating whether to even go since sitting inside to stay cool (I'm in the deep south and it is going to be 95 and humid) and being anti-social or just not going - think I am leaning toward the latter. I believe I experienced my first fatigue from being out in the heat too long the other night - woke up after about 9 hours sleep feeling leaden, but got up and went to work. This is all pretty new for me.

When I'm HOT I do NOT function well at all. This is bad when I wanna get close to a HOT babe but I am always willing to make that sacrifice :-)

I've only been through two summers since my diagnosis but interestingly enough both my relapses since have been in each summer. I can no longer tolerate the heat when I used to LOVE it. For the most part it makes me feel like my whole body gets shifted into slow motion or something. I just get sooo bogged down. And St. Louis has such icky humidity along with the heat. Ugh.
