What can I take for energy? What can wake me up and move? Please help me:(
ChrissyH
I take Ritalin as a script from my Dr. If u need a quick boost, take the '5 hour energy drink'. But don't it everyday.
GeminiAmy
Anything else I can get over the counter?
ShepherdMan
Really strong coffee does it for me. I buy Starbucks French roast and brew it myself. A few cups of this every day keeps me moving.
ChrissyH
If you like soda, Mountain Dew or Diet Mountain Dew gives a burst of energy. The 5 hour energy drink is OTC.
GeminiAmy
I was drinking diet mountain due and using bath room a lot and stopped drinking that. That could be a reason why I am so tired drinking water but thanks for the tip going bk to soda NOW:)

President Reagan swore by BEE POLLEN.

Unfortunately, anything you get OTC will have a "crash" assosciated with it no matter what the label says. I personally take modafinil and if I still need a boost I like the green can Monster Energy Drink. It is like jacked up Mountain Dew. Also, it is a good mixer with vodka if you are in a party mood.

RedBull helps me;)

I just drink coffee when I am feeling extremely sluggish but that is also why I am awake at 2:40 am! I didn't drink it until the night. Just call me stupid!

Try ginseng, natural and herbal. Take it in the morning.
GeminiAmy
Does Ginseng help right away? I do have some take it every day in the morning?
Orsova
I take Q10 enzyme and magnesium every day. Haven't suffered from extreme tiredness since starting these - except on very hot days.
GeminiAmy
Are they OTC ?
Orsova
Yes...well I can buy them without a script. From the health section of the pharmacy or from the supermarket.

My doc gave a script for 4AP. You have to get it from a compounding pharmacy. It only costs $32 per month. Insurance does not cover it.
