1/2 Timers

I had a visit from friends yesterday and was trying to explain the memory problems I now have. One of my friends who is just a couple of years older than me told me he likes to refer to it as 1/2 timers. Some people develope alltimers (altzheimers) but ours isn't that bad so let's just call it 1/2 timers. I like it!

MAN! My brain is sooooo befuddled at the moment...that seriously flew right over my head, sorry!

Talk about memory issues! HA & not HA!...

So, I'm trying to understand some...Was your friend trying to say that us with MS remember or forget things half of the time or something & that's why we are called "half-timers"???

P.S...My Fiance calls it "ALLTIMERS" as well (which is what my grandma had, my moms mom)...Silly goose he is for calling it that!

WE forget or remember only 1/2 of the time instead of all of the time so it's only 1/2 as bad. He doesn't even have MS and refers to himself that way so we could laugh together about it. Now that's a friend!

Now that sounds like a plan. Lets just say we have 1/2 timers. LOL
I will have to tell my kids that since they say ma you are getting alzheimers. hahahaha

I'm afraid my memory issues are a little too frequent to call myself a sometimer. Some days I feel like I'm stretching a bit to call it 1/2 timers. But a sense of humor about it all is what keeps us going.
