-let others know how you and (your team or family or however you wish to be called) would like to be addressed
--this will allow you and others to feel respected, which they rightly deserve
---you may consider telling outsiders who want to talk with others that you allow them to come out if they choose (or else find out from the rest what they are comfortable with)
--if people / therapists are treating you like a lab rat, tell them and let them know your terms ... you get to set the boundaries for you and yours , not other people
(just suggestions)
Alice - hey, I was going to say something, but Protector shut me down and let Researcher only respond ih that flat way.
Protector - It's for your own good. and I don't care how politically incorrect that is.
Researcher - those people don't know that dissociation is the name of the game, and if they were all comfortable and not dissociated then quid pro quo whatever. It's not like a dog doing
tricks.
Alice - Do I see a hint of Janis coming out?
Protector - No, cuz that would be unacceptable.

"I'm sorry if I'm out of sorts, but I'm out of sorts. Sorry
I have said, in my more protector personality, "I don't perform on demand." Didn't go over very well!
For others who express an interest in talking to one of the others I sometimes say, "maybe you will some time." and that seems to satisfy them.
Most of the time they have been talking to an alter all along and have no idea; and I'm not telling.
And I like the idea of saying, "you might meet them someday."
You all have great suggestions and ideas - I really appreciate it.
Thank you!
