I don't have a therapist currently, and though I have had therapists on and off, I really haven't worked with a therapist on DID issues. So I don't really know what typically happens, or what should happen.
Are you trying to integrate? Or are you wanting to be multiples living in harmony?
I'm not really sure if it's a good or less good sign, what you are talking about.
Are you sure they are GONE? or are they just quiet right now, or sidelined?
welcome to the group. I'm not Multiple myself so I can't really know. But I've some Multiple friends that have experienced both of the possibilities KittyT has suggested. Some have had Alters integrate, and some have had them just become inactive and go very deep / unreachable. I'm not sure if it's always possible to tell the difference?
