2. the host is the one that is out the most and makes the most decisions, i think. so that can be the original personality, but it isn't always. it depends on who you ask.
3. there are several different types of therapy, and not all of them work on patients with DID, it varies from individual to individual. i'm in talk therapy now, and it seems to help. to integrate (putting all of your alters back together) is a personal choice, and isn't right for everyone with DID. sometimes its better to integrate some of the alters, and sometimes its better for them all to be separate. but if you want to integrate, you need the help of a therapist who believes in DID.
