Yet we have specific challenges and need a lot of support sometimes too.
It would be nice to have a community - whether people lived in the same house or in the same apartment building or neighborhood - so we could help each other.
What helps me is DS and in-person support groups, plus's therapy and medications.
Sometimes, I also go into denial about DID, but then one of my alters shows up while I'm co-conscious. I don't remember half the things I do.
I have been in and out of hospitals many a times and I don't think I want to go bak in there...reason: the hospital is like a pararell universe and the outside world is a reality, when u are there u feel safe but can't stay there forever u have to eventually come out...
is there someone u can approach, like a therapist or a friend?
