I have not been dx with this illness. but I do connect with some of it....not necessarily the alters as such but the differences in personality that lead me to think that mbe some of the embarrasing/horrendous stuff i'd been guilty of mite not necessarily be the real me....cos the real me wouldnt' do some of the stuff i'd done....just a thought....all replies are welcome....

Thanks for sharing this juzmebake. I watched the whole documentary and it was very insightful. I get so angry by ignorant professionals who wants to make out that we are just acting this diagnosis out and it is not real. Like Helen said we could not act this for such a long time if it wasnt for real nor we we want to. Like Wutsthepoint noted people think we are stupid when we act out a certain way so why would we choose to act this way and delibritely allow ourselves to be ridiculed.

Wutsthepoint, you didnt put your name to your post kiddo but please dont let others tell you who to be. Your not stupid or dumb or retarded just because you are being you and acting like a child. Children deserve to act like children, creative and free spirited. Children always makes me smile when they can act like they do carefree and creative making up stories the way God created them to be. So please dont stop being who you are just because you think someone will think you are retarded. They re they retarded ones if they think you are being retarded just because you are being a typical child.

Im thankful to God everyday for my internals.
