Childhood abuse(of any kind) can lead to all sorts of different "states of mind"...so there is potential for you to have anything...INCLUDING D.I.D. Whether you only have traits of it, or an actual full case.

I have a little girl who comes out sometimes when I get scared. Usually I can hold her in until I get to bed at night, and then she will take over and cry and cry for hours. She used to have awful flashbacks, but working with my PTSD helped her finally get over those.
Every person is different, but I'm so glad we all have this place to explore and figure ourselves out with the help of others who are on the same journey. I'd like to add my thanks to everyone here for helping ME finally feel okay having more than one of me inside.
