I want to convert his room or I'll just sit in the empty space and cry.
I know there's positives and that this is just a necessary change of life.
I think coloring and movies are in order for tonight. And some serious ugly crying! But friends here help a lot.
We are here for you and well done asking for the kind of support you need! That is a great example for me.
Keep up the great work... I'm in a homeless shelter, change is coming my way to. You have my support.
I hope things are going well for everyone here, thanks for the positive vibrations Reed and everyone is sending me, I feel hopeful..
This group helps to carry me forward in life.
I was certain my son would leave and I'd never see him again. He's stopped by twice since he moved out which has helped.
And I'm doing well. I realize that I actually feel a lot free-er now that he's off on his own. I got up at 4am to do some cleaning and organizing. When he was here I couldn't do that because I'd wake him.
I'm dealing with it by cleaning and organizing like crazy, but I'm sleeping and eating well and haven't been sobbing like that first day.
But I have to tell you something very sweet. The day he left, I kept having sobbing sessions. My cat would hop up on me and rub her face on mine until I stopped and then settle into my lap. Cats are just the best.
The kids seem better. I've arranged things so that they don't feel so lonely. Thank goodness for stuffed animals.
@John, Hi :)
I have been in a pretty bad place for a while, and was not fit company for even DS. Lately it has been a bit easier.
I hope everyone is doing okay.
Steph - I'm glad things are getting better for you.
John - I hope your issues are resolving.
