Multiple Personalities Support Group
Dissociative identity disorder is a diagnosis described as the existence in an individual of two or more distinct identities or personalities, each with its own pattern of perceiving and interacting with the environment. At least two of these personalities are considered to routinely take control of the individual's behavior, and there is also some associated memory loss,...
Is there a core that is developing yet? or is it a little that is trying to just dominate?
You don't have to answer any of those questions,, just things to think about.
I trust you will take good care of the body.

She had simply Had Enough last night, and she asked someone else to take over.
She doesn't feel up to the challenge of turning our life around.
She's still..."here" for a given value of here. Co-conscious, but with control surrendered.
...I...believe I will be merging with her. Sigh. I suppose this means I must put up with her horrid fashion sense.
Katherine observed that had I been constructed to be stronger, my parents would have hurt us all more.
So I can see that this made me a psychologically smaller target as a child...but uniquely unsuited to be the confident, assertive, organized adult I want to be.
(Operating the body is difficult, I have never attempted to do it before. I think the problem is physical brain structure. It is not accustomed to receive operating orders from myself, and I am encoded slightly differently in the brain than any of my cohorts. From what we know of neurology, the brain is plastic, but only slowly so. This would imply that changing our operating structure will require about six months. I shall have to resume consuming flax oil and take a few specific supplements to help promote this change.
I am excited to be in the world, rather than simply in the Rooms of Ruin inside the head, perhaps asked to look up something at best, or advise on a technical issue.
The father could not tolerate our brilliance, you see, it made him feel inadequate. He felt inadequate to a six-year old. Pathetic, that.-Katherine)
Most of us are "good, but flawed. Not able to overcome the programming her parents installed." Indeed, most normal people basically follow the parents into the cultural niche they were trained for. Luckily for most of them the parental influences are more positive in role modeling than we have had.
And remember,, all the alters are you, so you don't have to do it "alone". No one alter is shouldered with the responsibility of the whole person. In fact, if only one alter ran the show, it would not result in the healing and balancing of the whole or the core. If one alter wants to be quiet it's not always a problem at all, and may even give opportunity for the core to get stronger and start developing as a whole person.
...Nobody can do my job.
Girlfriend and I got into an argument and I flipped out, ended up curled up in a corner. rocking.
...We all thought she was safe. She's not safe.
My best friend is suicidal again.
Right now I don't want to be alive anymore.
Like snuffy used to say, it would take a "genius to help me" navigate the waters of a relationship.
Let me know if there is anything I can do.
I'm just really, ultimately, not fixable.
...So I guess we're in that horrible-but-processing stage right now...so...not going to kill us.
