There are varying degrees of PTSD, some mild and others very severe. Also, I've heard of "natural" DID, where it exists as part of who you are when you're born, but I'm not convinced that can be true. I don't know how DID could occur without trauma being the cause of it. Although I have not done any research or reading to find out about natural DID, either. However, many psych professionals at all levels, ie: therapists, counselors, psychologists, psychiatrists, etc., don't even believe MPD/DID exists at all, so who can say?
I'm having a hard time myself understanding why I have no feelings at all about a childhood that doctors have told me was extremely traumatic.i get this on an intellectual level,but still no feelings
i have a diagnosis of ptsd and ddnos...but am struggling to define it better,not sure if I have an alter that holds the feelings or not.
