are you referring to being Multiple, or just your everyday Inner World even we Singletons have

One of the biggest things I have learned is that it all takes a lot of time. There appears to be no hurrying or shortcuts to the process.
I agree with VeronicaJames - thats what its mostly like for me.
That is totally how I have seen it, like a car. Like a chinese-fire drill, though I'm not sure what the politically correct version of that would be.
This fall I upgraded my car to a double decker bus. I used to be, someone was in the drivers seat calling the shots, but I had a shotgun and back seat drivers. But my littles were sort of out of hand when I was at work, and causing some mayhem
So I made this "inner world" thing happen in a double decker bus. Now the people that are too little to be around certain things or people that are scary or adult, they all have to go to the upper "party" deck or rec room area, so the adult-er types can function at work and be businessy. And I feel like this has worked BRILLIANTLY. Little's are off having fun somehow and we all feel more like a unit than I used to.
But I think the inner world comes more as the other sides of you learn to trust your other alters.
