Multiple Personalities Support Group
Dissociative identity disorder is a diagnosis described as the existence in an individual of two or more distinct identities or personalities, each with its own pattern of perceiving and interacting with the environment. At least two of these personalities are considered to routinely take control of the individual's behavior, and there is also some associated memory loss,...
sorry I'm not much help, I'm not multiple. Hopefully other members will respond to your Q soon

i visualized a wall, and i sorr of said to !y team, if there is information that EVERYONE needs - phone number, name, address, et - put it on. a post it note on the wall. or tack it on, however you want to so it. i think post its are fun.
if i notice myself getting nervous or afraid, i try to be aware of it. if i get really wacky, hopefully i am with someone that can talk me through it and help me remember what upset me. try to have that alter write down whatever scared or upset them and see it on the wall later when i am another me that can objectively see that thing that caused the panic
I think your internal wall a great idea, for post it notes or as whiteboard or just a wall with a box of crayons :)
when i first started using it i had to consciously do it, like all dramatically.
now i think its started to happen more naturally.
i think its importnt, because so many things are personal to a particular alter. no one else might be aware that bologna sandwiches are a really bad idea for a meal, so this way hopefully everyone can access that info!I
(i like bologna, it just popped into my head, so hope i didnt hurt bologna feelings anywhere)
I like the idea of the cameras, but are they difficult ot set up and co-ordinate the saving of videos? A strange question perhaps, but do you recognise any / all of your Alters when you see them? And what's an ESA dog? What breed is yours?
The cameras are not hard to set up. In the car I'm not sure if the others know their being recorded. But when I pull the card I can tell by the way they drive, the music that's on which ones driving. Same thing with the house. They all watch different things. We have some movies and shows we all like but we all like are own stuff. Esa stands for emotional support animal. It's a certified type of service dog. In order to have one or get your dog registered you have to do it online and pay a fee and then have your mental health professional such as a therapist or doctor write a letter. My therapist wrote me one and now one of my dogs is certified but still working on training. My other dog does pretty well so I'm going to get him certified as well. My therapist thinks it helps some.
i guess it was a silly Q about you recognising your others, a Non-Multiple's mistake :)
emotional support animals sound a greta idea. I think we have something similar, we call them Companion Animals. They also need training but I really know nothing about them. Is the trainingf long or complex? Your 3 certainly sound exotic breeding. We have 2 dogs, an old lady Blue Heeler who is 15 and an annnoyingly youthful 5 year old Smithfield Heeler
I am able to recognize my alters and remember what happens so seeing what happens isn’t as hard as me as for some others. My alters come out during the situation. For example, if I need protection or am frightened, I switch to a different alter (I actually have two for protection now and I’m not 100 percent sure of which one comes). I can recognize the switch because I either feel a little dizzy or everything seems out of touch, like I’m not connected to reality.
Again, I’m sorry if this isn’t helpful but this is how I sometimes am able to tell if I’m switching and some of the triggers?
I still ain't understand made thoughts and feelings all that much, but at any rate some understanding is better than none.
