welcome to the group and a big welcome to the world? What a wonderful thing to be able to finally experience the world directly and not just and an observer? Or have I misunderderstood your situation? As to why you're out, I'm guessing it's because there's some way unique to yourself that you can contribute to the well being of you all?

Sometimes our differences are small.
Maybe at some point you can share with a trusted family person some of the things unique to your others.
If this is someone who believes you or knows of your condition, maybe let them know what peculiarities your others have. Someone who is frowny, talks fast, is whispery, or whatever is a unique thing your person does. Once people know of this thing and start to see out more often they might start to realize what yoiu are talking about
