I hate dogs.
No I really don't hate dogs. But barking dogs make me frightened and tense and I become really cagey. And irritable.
All related to shit in my past that made me scared.
But I end up being a lousy person because of it.
I want to call the cops on people because they leave their fucking barking dog outside for hours and he just starts barking wars with other stupid dogs, and them I'm scared and nervous that I'm about to die because of a fucking stupid pekinese and I end up a crabby neighbor.
God, having a rough night.
But incessant barking really freaks mW out. I know a lot of people can tune stuff out, and maybe this is less about dogs and more about a sensory disorder I may or may not have. Because I also have trouble with music and kids. Not in theory, but when the volume is at a certain level, its like I go a straight into PTSD mode and have to batten down all my hatches.
So really, it's not that I hate dogs or children or loud thumpy music.
I hate having PTSD
