Ugh......got really bad kidney infection Monday, spent all Tuesday in hospital with iv meds.... Home tues nite, wednesday got worse back to hospital Thursday where I was told infection spread to blood... But under control cause antibiotic treatment starting to work ..... Very frustrated and I wanted to be admitted, pain is excruciating .... But drs just chucked it off as part of "my mgus" condition. At home now..... Crazy worried.
Is this all part of mgus? This is my 7th kidney infection since December .... What can be done , anyone know?

Are you seeing a nefrologist (kidney specialist)? If not, I would suggest you see one asap. Ken is being followed by one, he has no kidney problems, but since MM can bring on kidney failure it is best that he is monitored at that end, too.
I would also be very worried having so many kidney infections in such a short time does not sound right.
Hope you get to the bottom of this.
