hoarse voice

Has anyone had the side effect of a hoarse voice. I can go for days with no voice and then it goes back to normal. I'm on Rev/Dex/Zometa. I cannot acertain if any of the meds are causing this but as soon as I got on all three this happened. I keep myself very well hydrated and my doctors cannot explain it.

If it causes you worry ask for a referral to someone who can find out.
such as an ENT who can at least take a more studied look.
This disese has enough worries and any you can get rid of is a plus.

My husband gets hoarse as the day goes on.especially if he talks a lot and he hasn't started any treatment just yet

the oncologist is sending my Husband to an ENT because if hoarsness

One of the possible side affects of steroids (Dexamethasone) can be a hoarse voice. It has happened to me a few times and it has always been after I take my dex.

Thanks for your reply! I have found that the hoarseness is more apparent with the dex dose. It is something that I can cope with and probably a blessing to my husband!!!
