I’m very sorry for your situation and you must be a very strong person. Thank you for the information. Derm started a new oral and topical for me this week, as well as a new cleanser. Too early to tell if they will work. For me, it’s only been 8 weeks with this round of infections, and just 7 months since my first one. I can’t imagine 5 years....not sure I can do it... Again, thank you so much for responding. It doesn’t look like this is a very active support forum, so I’m very appreciative of you reaching out!
Did any of the doctors mention ingestion probiotics? Did any of the doctors explain to you what the antibiotics they are prescribing does to your gut flora? Unfortunately, most medical doctors in the USA will only prescribe FDA approved drugs (antibiotics) and are not trained in natural healing sources. Start ingesting probiotics on a daily basis and contemplate getting off of antibiotics (unless absolutely neccessary) as soon as possible. The natural products you mentioned may not have worked due to your immune system being compromised from antibiotic useage. strong immune system is the first line of defense against any bacteria, disease and illness.
Raw, crushed garlic baths (Bob Anderson) may benefit you.
To repeat: I am not a doctor of any sort and the above is not a prescription of any sort or claim of cure for MRSA. You (and anyone else)are responsible for your own health and healthcare and anthing you choose in that regard is of your own discretion and accord.
