Motherless Daughters Community Group

For any daughter who has lost their mother, whether through Death (if it's been one day ago or 40 years ago) or Abandonment, (i.e.-drug abuse, mental illness, physical or emotional abuse, etc.) and is working through the grief process. This group provides unconditional support and understanding from women who have also lost their Moms and who truly care.

I want to see who has a similiar situation to me. My mom passed when i was 4 and in preschool. It was very hard on me and I live with the after math every single day. It affects my daily life so much and pains me inside. Things that a mother teaches her daughter and just come naturally are tough to deal with because I didnt have my mom. My dad raised me. He has taught me some things but it just isnt the same. So, Id like to know hOw old were you when your mom passed? How do you cope on a daily basis? HOw has her passing affected your daily life?

I was blessed to have my just past my 53rd birthday. I am now 54. I am so sorry you lost your mother at such an early age. Take good care, Sharon

I'm 17, she passed away in Aug 2008. She was 53. I'm not looking forward to Nov. Because the 26th is her and my dad's birthday, and he should be the one not getting another year, not her. She was so special to me, and miss her alot.

I am sorry you lost your Mum at such an early age. I was 57 when I lost my mother last year and she was 78.
We are both older than a lot of ladies posting here but whatever the age-it hurts.
I was told once that when someone dies it is never 'the right age' and they are always too young.
However, you lost your Mom at a very young age which is hard for you.

    My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
