This community is dedicated to those who have experienced the traumatizing event of a miscarriage or a stillbirth. Miscarriage remains one of the most common complication of pregnancy, but that doesn't make it easy to deal with. Join the group and find support in the company of others who know what you're going through.
I had my D & C yesterday. Went fine, no complications. Still feeling tired, woozy, dizzy from the anesthesia and meds. Also still crampy. Took today off from work, which was a very good decision I think.
The only thing getting me through right now is my awesome husband. He has been a tremendous support and has said and done all the right things to help me. I thank God for him every day.
We are both still reeling from this very unexpected loss. I was at 10 weeks on Wednesday when we found out that I had miscarried. Everything had been perfectly fine up until then. No signs of any problems. On the heels of the chemical pregnancy we has in April, this was an even more devastating blow.
We are probably going to give it a few months before trying again. It took my body a few months to get back to normal after the chemical, so I wouldn't be surprised if this takes at least that amount of time.
I just know in my heart that i am supposed to be a mommy. Trying to stay positive and hope for the best.

It is so hard anytime you have a loss but when u don't suspect anything is wrong it makes it so much worse.
Keep the hope in your heart of the day you will hold your baby in your arms, It will be so amazing and remembering your struggles and loss will make it all the more beautiful and special. Hang in there Keep us posted. ((hugs))
I am so sorry you are going through this, losing a child is such a terrible experience. I wanted to tell you that I have suffered repeated losses myself, and I now have a beautiful 18 month old daughter and a 7 month old son (he was born prematurely so he should be more like 3.5months!) Both of my children are doing amazingly well, it does happen after loss but some mums experience far more losses than others. I really hope that you will be soon finding out you are expecting with a healthy pregnancy and delivery to follow xx
It is so good to hear your success stories, that is really what I need right now. To know that there is still hope and that this does not mean that I cannot have a healthy pregnancy.
I have to tell my best friend today, which I have been avoiding. She is so excited for me. Wish me luck.
