It's now been two months since my miscarriage and I have my good days and my bad days. I'm still really sensitive when it comes to the subject of babies, like when my sister-in-law asked when we were going to try again earlier today.
The biggest hurdle for my healing process is my own body. I was hoping to be trying to get pregnant in the next few days however I'm still struggling with physical pain that has followed me since the day I became pregnant those months ago, July 23 to be exact. Instead of going back to my OB/GYN because I'm pregnant, it's because I'm still feeling extreme pain that prevents me from living my normal life. It scares me so very much. First, no one knew what was wrong. Second, I was pregnant but something was obviously wrong with my pregnancy. Third, an ultrasound shows my baby stopped growing at 5 weeks and I carried it for 4 more followed by two weeks of strong antibiotics. Next, I thought the D&C would fix whatever was left. Next, I thought when my period comes it will show everything is back to normal. Now, I'm being sent to an OB/GYN specializing in ultrasound because I am still not okay. I have an appointment for Monday but I couldn't get an appt with my OB/GYN for my results for another two weeks after that, November 19. I can't wait any longer!
I am scared beyond belief. What if something is seriously wrong with me? My mom had to have an ovary removed when she was my age. I already have problems conceiving let alone if I have one ovary. Only my husband knows I'm still undergoing all these tests, I'm done talking to friends and family about it because they don't understand. I will tell them when I actually find out what is wrong, until then I will do this on my own.

I know what you mean. The miscarriage caused so much irregularity. I had two regular periods following the miscarriage then it became irregular all over again. I still suffer from morning sickness, no cramps during period but heavy bleeding (which is the complete opposite for me), being lightheaded, crazy hormones and mood swings. They found abnormal cysts then I went through the series of transvaginal ultrasounds. The cysts went away on their own. After months of telling them something else is wrong, I found a good obgyn that diagnosed me with pcos and immediately put me on medication for high insulin levels. I can't stand the 2 week wait for lab results either. It's hard talking to people who have not gone through it, but we are here and we understand.

I am very sorry for your loss. We all feel your pain. I just had a D&C on the 21st of Oct, and it went wrong i ended up loosing alot of blood i had to get surgery done. So i thought i would be there only for 30 min instead it was 2 whole days in recovery and my blood count was very low. Yesterday they took blood again to see where my blood level is it. The worse would be for me to get a blood transfusion which i dont want it to get to that point. Its frustrating becus they keep taking blood from me and they want to do this and that. But all this is being done to see if we are ok and to treat what we have. Don't give up. Stay positive and strong, its hard for me to do it but we have to do it.
