I'm so sorry. People say the most hurtful things and unfortunately just don't get it.
Extra time to spend with one child does not outweigh the negative of losing another child. An easier time dealing with the kids while hubby is out of town does not mean losing a child during a miscarriage is a freaking positive. I'd rather be exhausted down to the BONES with one extra kid while my husband is out of town working than have a miscarriage.
I'm so sorry that people think that they have to make you feel better in this kind of situation. They clearly have no idea what you are going through. Before my m/c, I wouldn't have understood either though. I hope that I wouldn't have said something so atrocious though.
Turns out that my miscarriage was caused by PCOS and the doctor who discovered my loss told me that if I had tried to have a baby sooner then perhaps we could have caught the issue earlier and I would still have my baby. Are you effing kidding me? He then told me not to try again until I lost 50 lbs. Go to hell doc.
