harpee, give yourself time to go through those emotions believe it or not TTC was actually bringing me down worse because i feel/felt like i had to get pregnant before this date or that date..and now that its not going to happen its more depressing. soo my advice would be to try to heal first, even though the want for a baby will still be there try to get a better understanding of this situation..

I'm on my third week after a miscarriage diagnosis, but just started bleeding/cramping Sunday. I understand what you're going through...my husband and I stayed home for Thanksgiving because I'm not ready to face anyone, especially because my stepbrother and his wife are expecting another baby (their first baby isn't even eight months old yet), my sister in law is expecting her second baby (her first is almost three), and my cousin who I'm very close to on my mom's side is pregnant with her first. I just can't seem to handle all the pregnancies around me. I haven't been back to work since the doctor told me I'm miscarrying. I went shopping with my stepmom Sunday before the cramping got too bad and she kept asking if I was okay. It was driving me nuts. I can't stand the way my family looks at me with such sadness. I wish I could tell you that trying for another baby helps...everyone is different. But, this is my fifth one...and I have to admit, it doesn't get any easier.

It is hard because my husband thinks the way to fix my pain is to have another child. It is hard to explain to him how I am not ready. He leaned on his religion to help him through this and i know he has bad days too but my faith was so hurt by this I can't use that to help me through. I have good days and then I have really bad days.

I guess the hard thing is being around people who have never gone through it before who give you pity instead of support. I don't have anyone in my family who has gone through something like this so it makes it harder not being able to to use my usual support system for when something bad happens.

I'm here for support, not only to receive but to give...so when you feel down and like no one understands what you're feeling I'll be here. I have been struggling with finding women to relate to and this is the first site I joined. I'm hoping it'll help me as well.

You just have to take it a day at a time. I lost my baby girl in July at 19 weeks, and not a day goes by that I do not think of her. My due date is quickly approaching and I feel myself daily striving to MAKE IT. I know it is tough, but another baby will not replace the angel you lost. So you must give yourself time, and just talk to your husband and let him know how you are feeling.

The best medicine is communication.
