I don't know if I have had the same problem as you but I noticed in my daughter's official report they could not place an exact cause of death. But they said the placenta had a slight infection, and I also read that the placenta was severly underweight. I was over 40wks when she died and I had given birth. At that time the placenta only weighed up to 28 - 30 wks gestation. The doctors say they don't believe that had to do with her death, but I think that could have been partial reason.

Yes, I did. I have placental issues. I lost my baby boy because of the placenta issue. The placenta had plaques on it and basically cut of nutritional supply to the baby. I now have a baby girl after that. Before I got pregnant I went to a great MD who found out the problem and put me on blood thinners. I still had a bad pregnancy with the same issue but the blood thinner let my pregnancy hold on a little bit longer and my daughter was born at a whopping 2 lbs. The stillbirth was an extremely traumatic experience for me I think about my baby every single day. I am extremely grateful I was able to have one more but now I have been advised not to have anymore children. I am lucky I have 2 healthy kids. I still long for my son who is gone.

hi yes my son was still born at 37 weeks my placenta stopped working I've had two sons since both had to be induced because the placenta had stopped working thankfully they were caught early enough and they are now 7 and 5
