I would suggest you get some basic testing done before you decide to try again. It's just a few blood tests, but i recommend you have them done.
The progesterone blood test, this is done 7 days before your expected period. Low levels of progesterone causes miscarriages especially in the early stages.
You can have blood tests to check for blood clotting. Blood becomes much thicker when ur pregnant, and clots can develop, and this leads to miscarriages.
You could also get ur thyriod check, as low thyriod levels causes problems too.
I know this is hard for you, but put ur energy into getting theses tests carried out and with healing urself. This will take time, and there is no time limit. You have been through a very heart breaking experience and you will heal in ur own time.
Try and keep extra busy and spend more time with friends, u will learn to smile again and enjoy life once again, and u will have ur bad days still, but there will be good days too.
Once again am sorry u have gone through this, try not to lose hope though, after going through 2 miscarriages am now pregnant again, and am 27 weeks, with my other 2 pregnancy i lost both before 10 weeks. Fingers crossed that all goes well. I get really scared, but i take 1 day at a time.
My friend who is only 27 had 3 miscarriages in a row, then had a little girl. and she did nothing differently, and was not taking any medication either, then she fell pregnant again and sadly had another miscarriage, so there is hope that u will have a healthy pregnancy, although at this time u may not agree as ur upset and very depressed still.
life is really cruel and am sorry you have been through this twice.
Am here if u need me, love Rach
jewelzie, I understand your fear. I have the same fear. On one hand, I want to give up because I am scared of going through another miscarriage. On the other hand, my heart can't handle the idea of never trying again. Then there is the fear of not being able to get pregnant again, even though the first 2 came pretty easily. It just sucks all the way around! We will never be able to experience that "innocence" of pregnancy and I resent that A LOT.
