I'm so frustrated!!! Why won't my hcg hormone just go down all the way already! This whole process has just been very daunting on me and everytime I'm ready to put it behind me...I have to go in for another "series" of blood tests! So this weeks results showed on Monday beta of 80, then on Wed. beta was 61! UGH!
It was bad enough to be told I'm miscarrying, then to have to go through a D & C because my hcg level kept rising but very slowly...THEN to still have it rise and be told I have to get a shot because it's ectopic (and now have to wait 3 long months before I can TTC again!) to THIS! A slow lowering hcg/beta! WHY WHY WHY!
I'm frustrated and frankly tired of getting poked and prodded...and I'm so exhausted physically and mentally from it!
OK done venting...I'm just having a really bad day!

I am so sorry!!! Miscarriage is hard enough mentally/physically and then to have have it drag out is just so unfair. I am so sorry.

Just wondering...did they go in after the d&c to make sure all of it came out? My hcg levels were coming down really slowly and it turned out that I still had a piece of the placenta inside and I had to have a d&c to get it out (I had pills put in to make the process start, but I have heard of people who have had d&c's and needed a second one because they missed something). I am so sorry for your loss. I was just wondering why you had to have a D and C if it was an etopic pregnancy? It sounds like you have been through a lot. This is draining both emotioanlly and physically. Keep us posted on your progress.

I had the D & C originally because my hcg level was just going up but very slowly so he said I'd need a D & C. So I got that and they tested the stuff from the D & C to see if they got everything. So it ended up that the tissue the got didn't have any signs of the baby. So he said I either miscarried before teh D & C and didn't know...OR I have an ectopic. So I had to do more blood tests! At first my hcg went down then it went UP! So he said it must be ectopic and gave me the shot for it! Now it's going down, but really really slow and I'm not totally convinced that it was ectopic and I'm really frustrated with the whole scenerio and doctor!!!

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
