I was in a car accident almost a week ago, I was almost 25 weeks pregnant, and lost the baby. Every now and then since the accident and all i swear it still feels like the baby is still here. I feel like i'm getting worse and worse everyday, my emotions are out of wack, I haven't been eating or sleeping very well, I don't really talk to anyone, there's maybe a few people that I do talk to. My husband is very supportive with the situation. But for some reason I don't really feel like talking about anything about the situation. I know it's better to talk than to hold it in, but when my family asks me how I'm doing with everything happening, I just look at them and walk away balling. It's just so hard.... Will I ever overcome these feelings? I don't want to hold everything in and then have things get worse for me, but I don't really feel like anyone understands. I don't know what to do anymore.....

First off I want to say that I'm so, so sorry for your loss. I found out last Fri that my baby had stopped growing and I was going to miscarry. This is mc #4 for me =( I shut myself out, and didn't really talk to anyone but DH for the first couple of days. And that's completely NORMAL. This is a devastating event and it's okay to have these different emotions. I still get upset stomachs after eating. But I will say it does get better IN TIME. I went out to breakfast yesterday for the first time, since last Fri- just kept myself in the house ( besides work) Sending prayers for healing and peace ... take care

Thanks both of you.. I'm trying to stay strong and not think about it so much.. My husband and I tried really hard to get pregnant and when i finally found out that we were pregnant we were so happy, but now we're miserable. We have been talking about it, ( some say it's too soon) but after the healing from everything, instead of going back to the fertility pills we are going to try artficial insemination. We want at least 2 children. I have one beautful daughter and we want her to have a sibling. It's very hard rigt now, I haven't left my house in a while. I cancelled my doctors appointments and my counseling appointment, I stay in my bedroom unless to use the bathroom or shower and that's it. I don't even walk on to my porch to check my mail. I'm scared, I feel alone, i'm an emotional wreck.... I'm hoping these feelings don't last forever, but i'm giving in to the feelings so who knows... This whole situation is confusing.

I am so sorry for your loss. My heart breaks for you. I had a miscarriage in 2010 and then just recently lost my premature son in the NICU. We are here for you. You will have good days and bad days. It may help as well to talk to someone who isn't involved in the situation. It has been helping me. It gives me the freedom to express myself completely. Sometimes it is hard with telling your family really how you feel. Its O.K. to cry all day. I still cry all day sometimes. I cry everyday. I yell and scream and shout out how I feel. If you don't want to talk about it right now then don't. But at some point you need to. My thoughts are with you
