I had a D&C on May 3rd and had light spotting for only 5 days. I had no bleeding or spotting for 11 days but today I am spotting again. Has this happened to any of you? I thought it was my period but it is very unlikely for AF to arrive so soon (2 weeks after D&C). I believe I have read that it is normal for spotting to come and go until cycles go back to normal but I am so paranoid lately. lol

I had a d&c done right after I delivered my daughter, and then spotted for about a week after that. I don't think it sounds unusual, they told me at the hospital it can last for a week or two. You might still have some stuff in your uterus that is still coming out. I would check with your doctor if you're pretty worried. Good luck!

It takes a while for your hormones to get back tp normal so it is nay=tural tp spot for a few weeks.Unless you are needing to use more than 1 pad every 2-3 hours for more than another week, I would not woory. But please-if it eases your already burdened mind, talk to your doctor.

I agree that after the miscarriage or D&C your hormones take quite some time to return to normal. It has been since 3/24 that I delivered and had a D&C. I am still seeing changes in my body (cervical fluid, acne resolving, breast changes, etc.) That is why many MDs recommend waiting a few cycles to try again. Give it time unless you are bleeding heavily.

After my D&C I spotted for about a week and then it stopped for 3-4 days and its started up again. I think its probably normal. It took me 8 wks to get my period again. Hope this helps.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper?
