Nothing
They ask me whats wrong
I tell them nothing
Nothing- as in the emptiness left in me
The day fate ripped my heart out
Its such a strange word, nothing is
It means so much
And yet so little
See the abyss of pain-
The dark void in my eyes?
The light that used to shine so brightly-
Now, its only nothing
Youre dying, I can see that,
Right here inside of me
And yet here I lay,
Doing nothing
Watching as you fade away
Fade away to nothing
You want me to be happy now
But how can I be
When my heart and mind
Are in such agony?
The mistakes Ive made
I cant take back
And forgiving myself is so damn hard
I dont know what to do
I feel so lost now, without you
Id give anything to get you back
I cant do this, I cant stand this
This nothing between us feels so wrong
I loved you then
I love you now
And for the eternity ahead
I always will
Id fight for you, die for you, anything for you
Because without you I am only nothing

Thanks for sharing your poem - I really like it. My favorite line is: "This nothing between us feels so wrong." I have those feelings everyday :( (I love to write poetry too - it's therapeutic for me - similar to a personal journal).

der Fallen1991, for being so young you sure have a lot of maturity in your words. I do the same. I write poems and songs. It is my therapy as well at times. I can completely relate to your words and thank you so much for posting them. You have much talent and I hope you continue to bless us with more of these poems. :)

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
