So I'm having my dnc tomorrow at 1:30 p.m. no food or water after midnight and I have to take a pill vaginally 4 hours prior to my dnc. Its the same pill that is given to help woman miscarry quicker and I was warned it Can make me start cramping as soon as 30 minutes after taking it and of course can bleed early on to. If I bleed or cramp too bad I have to go to surgery center right away.
So have any of you taken that pill...and if so how bad and how soon did your cramping start. That is my biggest worry about waiting till 1:30 tomorrow although I have to be there no later then noon...so if I'm in lots of pain they will give me something.

I was given the pill, and nothing got worse until about 12 hours later. It probably differs for everyone, but that was my experience.
When it did kick in, the bleeding and cramps were worse for about an hour or so, then went back to period-like.
