Is it normal to have pain the first time you have sex after a d and c? My first time after was a few days ago and I still have a little pain. Should I call my dr?

I had pain/burning with sex the first 2 times. Less the 2nd time. It lasted no more than a day each time. Don't know if that's normal or not. But haven't had it since.

It does not hurt to call your doctor. They are there to help you and give you guidance. :-)

It is my understanding you are supposed to wait at least 5 weeks after a D&C to have sex. While you may not feel any pain you body needs time to heal itself. Also, you have to be very careful because after D&C you can easily get infections in that area because the D&C removed everything good and bad. I don't want to sund preachy or alarm you but honestly I would not have sex for a few more weeks. Better to be safe than sorry. :)

i still experienced some pain after 2 weeks. at my 2 week apointment my dr told me that it should go away, and as long as i wasn't bleeding it was alright to have sex. of course i didn't want to because of the pain but just figured id share.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper?
