Over the last couple of weeks i really thought i had my emotions sorted.
I have a close friend who is in her final trimester and i usually find it bearable to spend time with her but now her sister in law has backed out of the babyshower preparations and left it to me and quite frankly i dont want to do it.
Its bringing up all these emotions. I would have been 27 weeks and in my third trimester. I feel so cheated and yes, jealous. Is this wrong of me. I just want to break down and cry but cant coz everyone would say i need to be over my loss by now.
Another friend of mine gave birth yesterday and the pic put of facebook was so picture perfect of her, baby and her husband. I really wanted that.
I really wanted you baby Grayson. I will never forget you. You will always be my son even though you never made it into this world. Your mommy wanted you and loves you.

I am so sorry for your loss. You shouldnt be over your loss by now. I cant imagine ever being "over"it. Theres always constant reminders. I am still in the early stage of loss and I am sure that there are easier times. But I dread my best friends baby shower in March. My sister in laws baby gender announcent dinner in a couple of weeks. I am happy for them but just think... why couldnt I be planning these things for myself? I wouldnt be able to plan a shower and if you dont feel like you can do it before you overwhelm yourself maybe you should speak up? Is there someone else who can take over? I do wish you the best and I really hope noone will have the nerve to say to u you should be "over" it by now.

It's totally okay to feel the way you are feeling. I know this is a close friend but if you are not ready to be involved in it then don't. Don't put yourself into a position that will cause you heartache. Unfortunatley people who have not gone through this will not understand how hard it is for you. It's okay to say "I'm sorry but I cannot conduct your shower, I am not ready. Losing your baby even though it was not born yet is just the same as losing a child that is here". I had to do that and I found out who my friends really where, this includes family. We lost our baby in May at 12 weeks, I still cannot handle seeing a pregnant woman or babies in a freaking grocery store. I go down another isle immediately to take myself out of the situation. You will never get over it, you lost your child and it's okay to take time to grieve, and everyone is different. There is no time limit on this. Hugs!

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
