i have a friend who has a newborn baby, only a week old.
here is something i dont understand. the other day, me and my bf went to visit my parents, whose friend was visiting with their young baby.
i nearly teared up and cried. and the whole way home i talked about how i wanted a baby.
now i went to see My friend today, and was able to hold the baby. i was apprehensive at first, but i was able to hold the baby and hug him, with out breaking into tears. now i feel a little sad, but its strange, cause her bieng pregnat didnt bother me ither. its just her. everyone else i hate. i dont get it. im glad i can be around her, but i just dont get it.
but it was nice to hold a baby so new, i never got to hold mine.

I also have the same issue. I have a friend who is 36 weeks along. I can hang out with her, look forward to meeting her baby, talk about her baby & the loss of mine...I have no resentful feelings/ hard time being around her. On the other hand, another couple we know just found out they are expecting (about 6 weeks along) the thought of having to hang out with them makes me feel very uncomfortable, sad, & envious. I've tried to really think it through as to why. I've known the "lucky" couple much longer than the friend and her husband who I'm comfortable with. I think it has helped that she is able to talk about my loss. I can tell that she is not uncomfortable when it comes up in conversation, she saw his nursery and his little hand and footprints and she cried with me. We didn't even get a card or email from the others when I had my miscarriage. I think when you have a friend who can stand beside you in your pain, you don't begrudge them their joy. When it is someone who is either unsupportive or unaware of what you've been through, it's a little harder.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
