Could trigger... Don't read if you are still trying to cope with recent loss.... Please... For your sake I do not want to upset anyone.
She went into labor sometime last night. Around 10:30 I found two kittens in her box. One alive, one had passed away. I waited up with her most of the night but had to work so I ended up going to bed. Got up in the morning to find another dead kitten. Now, at least 30 hours after the first kitten was born she is still in labor. Up until 4-5 hours ago I could feel at least one more moving inside her but the movement has stopped. She's bleeding a little bit. I absolutely have no money to take her to the vet and I feel terrible right now. I'm afraid she's going to end up with an infection and then I'll have to hand-feed the kitten that lived... I don't know how to help her and every vet in my area wants cash up front, which I can't give for another week until I get paid... And even then, my paycheck won't be enough to cover what they would need to do for her. She wouldn't let me pull the first dead kitten out of the box for hours and I felt horrible. She was s protective of it. Now, it's like she's given up. She isn't even pushing during her contractions anymore...
This whole thing has been terribly triggering. I can't stop crying and nobody gets it! Not even my fiance... I miss my babies and watching my cat go through this is terrible.

Hugs to you hun, my cat Belle had two kittens on the 26th, one lived for two days the other three, I completely understand how upsetting it is for you. I'm still very heartbroken over the babies not making it. My Belle was just two young of a mother and she refused to nurse or cuddle them so i had to. I bottle fed them w KMR, and kept them on a blanket w a heating pad to keep them warm. I'll pray for you and your kitty, you can try tweaking her nipples that helps w labor and lightly pressing on her tummy moving your hands down to try and push the baby out durning her contractions. Best of luck, if all else fails I'd leave her at the humane society, I'm sure you dont want to lose her, at least this way she could be taken care of. Many hugs to you!

sad to say that I came home from work to find two more losses... and two more live ones! so she had 3 total make it out of the litter. She had 7, so now I know why she was having such trouble. The kittens are kind of small, so we are keeping a constant eye on them and their momma. It also kind of feels like she may have another one in her still. We aren't sure now, but we are thankful for the three little miracles who lived.

Prayers to you and your kittens. You are braver than you think and I know your cat is blessed to have you. I will keep praying the other 3 make it and if there is another 1 in her, she is done soon and recovers well. God bless you and I know it is hard for you, but you are doing all you can do. Take care of yourself and keep u posted please.

The last kitten didn't make it, but the three are active and healthy. They are doing good and the momma cat is getting her rest and eating a lot. Thank you for the prayers.
