I found out I was pregnant on Saturday (5 weeks) but me and my boyfriend only had the one day in which to be happy because the following day I started experiencing problems in the morning.
Long story short it's 5 days later and I am having/have had a miscarriage.
It is all so traumatic and I can't believe it's happening. It's such a shock to go from excitement to loss. I am lucky that my boyfriend is so supportive but it's still an absolutely awful thing to be going through for both of us.
I'm still in quite a bit of pain but painkillers are helping. It's more the emotional trauma of the MC itself I'm finding hard. They tell you what to expect but nothing can really prepare you.
We have been reassured that just because it happened today doesn't mean it's likely to happen next time, but to be honest, I'm not seeing much evidence of this. I'm hearing so many people suffering from multiple MC that it's hard to remain hopeful.
Any support would be appreciated at this time.

Hey...I've had two miscarriages within 8 months of each other. After the second one, I lost my job and decided to stop trying and to use birth control. Between the second miscarriage and the loss of my job, I got pregnant again. I now have a chunky 10 month old. I was very anxious during the pregnancy and expected the worse. I still think about the pregnancy losses. I was put on progestrone after the second one. There's no way to tell if that helped or not but it made me feel a bit less anxious during the first trimester. Good luck to you. You are lucky to have a supportive partner.

My mother only had one MC and then had 3 girls. My grandmother had a MC that ended up taking one of her ovaries and she had 4 more kids. I've only had one MC and I don't think about having another one. I pray that God will honor my prayers with a baby one day. Until I just have to keep the faith. My MC was 4 1/2 months ago and for the most part I am doing good. Still have moments and this month has been hard becasue my due date was next week. I just have to keep telling myself that God has a plan. You will be in my prayers. God be with you and your family.

I am so sorry for your loss!! I can definitely relate to those feelings... But right now you need to focus on yourself and allow yourself to grieve..be sad, angry, scream, cry, talk about it, write about it, scream and cry some more, it's okay to feel all that. My DH and I have begun TTC after our mc, but I've only become content with that after allowing myself to go through the grieving process! It takes time and gets better with time. Hugs your way!
