Last week I went for my routine visit to the Dr.
We were supposed to hear the baby's heartbeat and found ourselves with the worse news. The baby's heartbeat had ceased.
I was told at that moment that a D&C had to be done since I had a missed miscarriage.
That was the worse day of my life. I felt like I was having a nightmare and could not wake up.
I could not stop crying for days. I'm feeling a little better today but still feel very sad. My husband and I were so excited about having our second baby. It has been very traumatic for us.
We want to start trying agin as soon as the Dr. gives me the ok when I see him for my follow-up.
It will be very stressfull trying again as we will always have the fear of loosing another baby.

Hi Iramallo. I to am trying to cope. I had a methtrexate treatment, for eptopic @ 6 weeks, 5 weeks ago. I just started my cycle and am tring not to get to far ahead of myself, with planning, when my husband tells me his sister is pregnant. I have not been able to pull my self together today.

Sorry for your loss.I lost mine at 6 weeks.I felt like I had failed everyone around me.As time goes on it gets better.I still have bad days and blue moments but we are all here for you.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I had a blighted ovum at 6 weeks with my very first pregnancy twelve years ago. I got pregnant again very soon after, within 3 weeks to be exact. That child is now a healthy, beautiful 11 yr old. Please try to remember that all pregnancies are different.

It can and will happen for you. I know it probably doesn't seem like it right now. Hang in there!

oh i totally understand what you are going through i just recently lost my baby at 7 weeks i was told by my first ultra sound baby was ok and can hear babys heart beat went the day after that one baby had died. i'm still grieving it been four weeks i know im waiting for my check up to see when i can try again my check up is next week im so sad im her eif you need to talk im sorry for your loss :(

i lost my daughter in august, and it was our first child together, she was 14 weeks, so i know what ur feeling. and how u are feeling, a good frind told me once that you never get over losing a baby, you just learn to live with it, it helped me some, and i hope it will help you cuz i dont think that you should ever forget, if you need someone, i'm here, we all are for you!!!

Sounds so similar to what happened to me... Went at 10 weeks to hear the heartbeat with a doppler, they heard it just fine. I felt her move less than 2 weeks later - tiny little flutters. Went in for a check at 13 weeks, no hb. Had two midwives try to find it, no luck. Had an ultrasound, and the tech said "no evidence you were ever pregnant." She was just trying to be nice - we SAW our baby on the screen. Not moving. No heartbeat. That day was so hard - and the days following. We'd thought we were in the clear, and we'd told everyone.
My heart goes out to you and your husband. Your future pregnancies will probably cary an extra load of worry with them, but you will still enjoy them.
