I have moved to Mississippi. They are trying to get a vote on something int he state and I didnt know what it meant till today when I say about it on the TV. Its called 'vote yes on 26'. The thing that I say was about where they are trying to ban birth control, and aportions and make it were pregnant women can not get health care. I think that is crazy. Its like they are saying no matter what is the problem, that you have to have the baby and you can get medical care while being pregnant. I dont understand why they would want to do something like this. There are women out there that dont want to get pregnant any time soon and BC is the option that they want to go with and there are some women that take BC to help with their monthly(I was one of them and several of my friends too). I dont think that they should make it were women cant get what they need while they are pregnant because things can go wrong and they need medical care just like everyone else, I should know because I am still waiting on insurance here in Mississippi so that I can get looked at after what happened and get my son on his medication for ADHD and my youngest, carter needs to be seen too. But I cant do anything till they give us insurance.

I dont understand this and I am thinking about writing a letter to whomever I need to and tell them that is is not right and they shouldnt control what people want or not wont. Its up to the person, its their option, not the government. Pregnant women need medical care just as much as everyone else, if not more because things can go wrong.

Amendment 26 is government going too far.
Its bad for our health, out of line with Mississippi values, and its costs are the last thing our economy needs right now.
We all want to reduce the number of abortions, but 26 is so extreme that it would ban common forms of birth control like the pill.
Think about it26 would threaten womens lives. A pregnant woman battling cancer might not have access to the treatment to save her own life.
26 would force the victim of rape or incest to carry a pregnancy caused by her attacker, forcing her to relive the horror of her attack.
26 would mean higher taxes, more government spending on social services, and a bonanza for trial lawyers.
In this economy, the last thing we need is another unnecessary law that would that would cost us millions.
This is what i found and I wanted to share about. It dont make sense to me and I wish that I knew about this sooner so I could have a say so in it. They vote in 6 days on the 8th about it and i hope it does not pass.
