This community is dedicated to those who have experienced the traumatizing event of a miscarriage or a stillbirth. Miscarriage remains one of the most common complication of pregnancy, but that doesn't make it easy to deal with. I know this might sound crazy, but the other day I went to see the movie Knocked UP with my bf. I wanted to see it, but I was kind of concerned it might make me feel depressed watching a movie about people who didnt even want a baby getting pregnant. However, in some ways it was really theraputic watching a pregnancy success story. The movie was incredibly funny and heartwarming. I know that it was just a movie but it gave me hope that pregnancies can work out and result in the birth if a beautiful child. I think in a way the movie helped me heal just a little bit more.
I was just wondering if anyone else had an experice or event that helped them realize they could move past the pain, and find hope. I think it would be good to share some positive experiences.

I love the new show Notes from the Underbelly. It's about a couple who get pregnant and it's really pretty funny. It didn't bother me to watch it in a funny way it made me feel better.

I ha my miscarriage back in August and I had a really hard time with anyone who was pregnant. THere was a friend of my SIL who was pregnant a week before me and her pregnancy was very diddicult for me becuase we had both been trying for a while and had talked about it. After she had her baby in March the first time I saw him I thought it would be hard, but it actually helped me a lot because I really enjoyed holding him and I knew what was possible in the future.

I lost my baby in February. I have a very hard time watching people with babies or anyone who is pregnant. Im lucky that my friends who do know about it dont push me into those situations

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper?
