I had been trying for almost 13 years with my ex-husband to have a child, we even went through IVF twice and no luck. So we ended up getting a divorce for other reasons and I learned and bacame okay with not having children and to just be the best Auntie to my brother and friends children. Then I got into a relationship and found the love of my life, and I was still okay with it just being the two of us. March 28, 2012 I found out I was pregnant. It was a miracle, our little miracle. Early April I started spotting and bleeding so I went to the dr. on April 9, 2012 to have my first ultrasound to make sure there was a heartbeat, and there was. So I was told to go home and rest, put my feet up. The bleeding was light at times and heavy at others. Between April 9 and May 11 I had over 5 ultrasounds. The finally saw what was going on at the 4th ultrasound, It was an implantation bleed but they said it would dry up. On May 10th late at night I went to the bathroom and when i urinated i heard these plops in the toilet, they were massive blood clots. So we went to the ER they did a pelvic exam and an ultrasound. The baby had a strong heartbeat and was dancing around with its little arms and legs. They told me to go home and rest. An hour later while lying in bed I kept getting these waves of pain in my abdomen, the feeling was almost like the feeling of having gas in your stomach. I went to the bathroom around 12:30am and the waves of pain got worse and worse, eventually I had this overwhelming urge to just push. So my I did what my body told me to do. There was so much blood, on the last push all of a sudden the contractions stopped. So when I looked down my baby was still halfway in and I had to pull it out (I cannot get these images out of my head). I set the fetus next to the sink because I wanted to take it to the hospital to confirm as this was my first pregnancy. I finally calmed down enough to lay down with the heating pad because I was still having contrations, I had them even at 7am the next morning. My boyfriend and I went to the er the next morning and they confirmed. The also said that the M/C had started before I left the hospital the night before and they should not have sent me home. I am devastated over this. I feel like it is worse because I had such a horrible time having to do it at home and seeing everything I had to see. I have read alot of people's stories but most are about going to have an ultrasound and finding out there is no heartbeat. That was not my case, an hour before it happened the baby was fine. So I would just like to know if there is anyone out there who has had a situation like this. I was at 11 weeks.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
I hope finding this group helps you, i joined after my 3rd mc, and have found some amazing women that have gone thru some terrible times. No one can relate unless they have been thru it, but i wouldnt wish it on anyone. Im so happy that you were able to conceive tho, especially after 13 years with your ex. Take your time and grieve, get feeling a little better--it does happen, tho it takes time. Don't let anyone tell you how you are supposed to feel, but remember that men deal differently with this, and keep the communication open with your SO. Good luck, and if you ever want to chat, message me. Hugs...
Thank you
I hope you have a good support team near you, because that really helps. I am here to talk if you ever want to, as are other wonderful women. I like the advice the other two women have already given you. Take your time getting through this. It has almost been a year since my miscarriage, and I still feel like it happened yesterday.
