Ok, so I was watching Eat Pray Love for like the 500millionth time on Sunday...and a line struck me in a different way: forgive yourself groceries.
Question: how are you forgiving yourself? Please post your thoughts on this important topic.
Soooo...
Recently, I've wanted to e-mail my college sweetheart (it's been like 15 yrs), and tell him that I wasn't really a raging bitch in college, it just turns out that I had endometriosis which makes me on occasion a raging bitch..."won't you forgive me for all the years of crap I put you through?" ;-)
I've been fixated on this for some reason. But in the movie, the guy from Texas stresses that the ex-husband is never going to forgive her.
WE ARE IN THE SAME BOAT: I have not yet forgiven my body for not allowing our first baby to come full term. I'm so mad and angry, and upset when people say "a miscarriage is nature's way of weeding out bad genes." Well, what the F--- does that mean for someone who had an etcopic pregnancy? Is that nature's way of ensuring I'll never give birth?
So here I am, officially forgiving myself and my body. But I don't know how to really do this, my body can't really say "yes, I forgive you." Any thoughts? How have you forgiven yourself?

Having lost a baby in February and then again this week, nope I haven't forgiven myself but I think you are on the right track. I am so disappointed in myself that I cannot seem to carry the son my husband so desperately wants. I guess it would just be a mind thing and when you come to peace with yourself you will know it. Maybe write in a journal or something to yourself. Good luck.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
