Feeling empty

I've known the baby heart stoped since April 26 but my D&C was yesterday. Today I'm no longer pregnant. I can't stand going through this pain again. I feel so alone right now. Why did this baby have to leave me.

We too have one living child and have been on a 3 year journey to have another one.

I am so sorry you are going through this. I know that most of the time the emptiness is unbearable and even though those who love us try to understand it's just not the same loss and pain for them. I just experienced my second miscarriage three weeks ago today and I feel so empty and on this roller coaster of emotions. All I can tell you is that you need to be patient and kind to yourself and give you the time you need to heal. It is different for everyone and their is no right or wrong way to grieve regardless of what people who have not experienced it will tell you. I hope you find some strength from the women on this site. It does help to talk with those who have literally walked in your shoes. Take it one day, or one minute at a time. Whatever you need.. And please know that you are not alone and in those moments of despair.

I am so feeling your pain right now. I have had a lost each year since 2011. I have had three pregnancies and we don't have any living children yet. I am married and it makes it seem as if my husband thinks something is wrong with me. He never treats me this way but I just feel this way. We lost our first baby at 16 weeks, second at 5 weeks. We found out we were pregnant with our 3rd baby on April 17. We were able to hear the heart beat at 6 weeks and then at 8 weeks. We went in at 10.5 weeks for a follow up and there was no longer a heart beat. My doctor recommended a d&c, but I preferred to do it naturally. Four days later, I passed everything naturally. I am still cramping and hurting physically and emotionally. The worst part is our family, friends, and co-workers knew we were expecting and now we have to go back and let everyone know we have had another lost. I am devastated. I am so discouraged. I pray we can find strength here and know that you are not alone. I am praying for everyone.
