Since my D&C I have been having horrible headaches on and of,f, still very tired and lately I am sick to my stomach almost like when I had morning sickness. I assume this is from the drop in hormones but sometimes it makes it hard to get through the day. Has anyone else felt like this?

I am so very sorry for your loss. I miscarried on June 1. I was 4 months pregnant. I have had headaches off and on and some nausea. I am thinking it is b/c of the drop in hormones and the emotional distress.

I also had some bad headaches after my miscarriage and D&C (I hardy get headaches). Then a couple of weeks after I had the headaches I had horrible back pain and cramps. One day I was walking from the parking garage at work to my office and my back was hurting so bad I didn't think i was going to make it to my office without falling over from the pain. I thought maybe my period was going to start but it didn't start until about 3 weeks after i had the horrible back pain. So sorry about your loss! Hope you feel better soon!

So many things can cause headaches after a D& C. Maybe you're dehydrated, are you drinking enough? You are probably anemic and could use some iron, plus like you said your hormones took a big drop. I think it is your body telling you to rest and take it easy, you have been through a lot physically and emotionally.

I was unprepared for how i'd feel post miscarriage. When I miscarried at 3 months in April, the month following (may) was really hard. I was all over emotionally, crying, depressed. It really scared me. I even went to the doctor to see if I needed to take an antidepressant. He told me this was all because I was grieving and to not be hard on myself for feeling so crazy emotionally. I really thought i was going to have a nervous breakdown, that I couldn't take any more stress. This month has been a little easier. I hope you continue to feel better. *hugs*

Thanks everyone for your support.....it has really helped me start to get through my grief! The headaches and nausea have subsided and my energy level is improving greatly....which I will need to keep up with my little one and be able to function when I go back to work. I have started doing accupuncture again to help me get my body back in balance and help with relaxation. HUGS to you all!
