clotting disorder?

for those of you that have been told you have some sort of clotting disorder, what were your symptoms? i'm going to a doc this week and want to bring this up to them... I have had 3 early miscarriages in the last year and since my last one i have had a lot of clotting during my cycle. and this time i went two days without any bleeding so i thought my usual 3-5 days cycle was over and then tonight me and my fiance had intercourse, which resulted in me bleeding again with a lot of clotting. i've never experienced this before, and the only times that i have bled this long (with and without skipping days) was during my last loss. I bled for 8-9 days straight then. this time, i'm on day 7 already........ my fiance is worried because i am bleeding again and wants me to go to the hospital and get checked out.

I didn't have symptoms to get diagnosed with a blood clotting disorder. I had three miscarriages and was in my fourth pregnancy when I saw my new OB/GYN who is also a fertility doctor. Once he realized I was going to miscarry he ran A TON of blood work and that's when it was discovered. He started me on baby aspirin once per day and prenatal vitamins. Six months later, I was pregnant again, he started me on Heparin shots twice a day but I still miscarried. I don't know if we didn't catch the pregnancy soon enough or what had happened. After that loss I was emotionally drained. I'm now ready to try again- but the doctor wants me to loss a bit of weight before I conceive because now he thinks my weight has more to do with me miscarrying along with the blood clotting.

I would just ask your doctor to do any bloodwork he can to discover if there could be an underlying cause. Have you taken a pregnancy test lately? Maybe you were pregnant again and that's why you're having the abnormal bleeding? I would suggest calling your doctor's office because they can tell you best if you should come in or head to the ER.
