I can answer that...I'm having the same issue and I think its because right now we are so in tune to baby things and grieving pregnancy loss that our mind just singles in on those things around us. At least that's what I've been told. It still sucks though.

I don't think its just you. It seems everywhere I look another friend is pregnant and healthy. It could be that we are hyper aware. I try not to let it get to me but I would be lying if I said it didn't some time . You when want something so bad its all consuming. Its a normal thing you are feeling, seeing and experience. Hugs

It is so true! Just found out 2 very close friends are pregnant. Both due around the time I would be due. I just had D and C 4 days ago. My 2nd in 6 months. It seems so much harder this time because all of the pregnant people surrounding me at my job and in my life. I want to be happy for them, but the jealously is unbearable. It is really a terrible feeling.

Breaking 'baby news', big cute baby bumps, baby showers, births and then birthday parties....don't they all just break our hearts, open up dams of tears and for some of us, make us awefully envious and insecure?
It's such a painful place to be, and yet, we have no choice but to go through it all. But the good thing is, now we have each other in it....we're not alone! :)
Well, and another choice...
We have a choice to pray, pray incessantly, like never before for our babies... The babies that God is going to bless us with, just as He blessed Sarah (old), Hannah (childless) and Elizabeth (old) and millions of other women who can testify to miracle babies even today!
Sisters, please put away all thoughts of hurt, anger and hopelessness, and pray.... I am confident that God is listening to your prayers.....even when you say not a word...He can see into your heart, and He will bless you....out of His infinite love, mercy and goodness. I am praying for all of us who are on this painful journey...and there's a peace in me that tells me God is listening.

Peachjoylove, ditto phgirl08. I cant say it enough, you ladies on daily strength has been a critical key to my healing in this dark place in my life. In everything go through, I try and find a lesson from God. God can be using this experience to be our ministry. Since the beginning of time, women have had child bearing issues. Even in the Bible, God shows that he is concerned about us too. God is still the same God then that he is today.

You do not know how better I feel after seeing your post. I have lost my baby 9 days back and having the same feeling about my pregnant friends! I know that I should not do this, but I can't control my mind!

I totally feel the same!!! Every time I catch up with girlfriends the topic of babies and who's pregnant comes up - every time!!! I know its because were the same age so obviously we are all that stage at the same time, but it just makes me feel so uncomfortable!! A friend of mine was talking about wanting to do something next year in a particular month but that she couldn't because she would be pregnant then and I thought bitterly in my head how silly she is to think that you just click your fingers and your pregnant when you decide you want to be.. And then realised she has no reason to think otherwise. And i wouldn't wish my own struggles on anyone.. Its just hard not to be jealous!!
