Migraine Headaches Support Group
Migraine is a neurological disease, of which the most common symptom is an intense and disabling episodic headache. Migraine headaches are usually characterized by severe pain on one or both sides of the head and are often accompanied by photophobia (hypersensitivity to light), phonophobia (hypersensitivity to sound) and nausea.
How much do you take? I take b2 also but haven't found taking mag. Or b2 seems to make a difference. But I think you need to take a lot so this could be why they don't help.
I always like to know I'm taking all I can take non-prescription wise to help if it might reduce.
My neuro-migraine/pain specialist's nurse told me yesterday that B2 should be taken with magnesium and that CoQ10 won't work for migraines without at least the B2. She also told me it can take up to 3 months to know how well, or not, a supplement is working. I take "high absorption chelated magnesium containing elemental magnesium" since most magnesium supplements are not absorbed well by our bodies.
