Migraine is a neurological disease, of which the most common symptom is an intense and disabling episodic headache. Migraine headaches are usually characterized by severe pain on one or both sides of the head and are often accompanied by photophobia (hypersensitivity to light), phonophobia (hypersensitivity to sound) and nausea.

I agree..there is so much advertising on the site that it is difficult to separate it from the content..

It's a good site for basic information. It doesn't discuss nutritional intervention as an alternative therapy. That is what worked for me. And I agree, the ads are a little annoying but still a great site for newbies.

I think it is a great site with lots of information. Best for newbies, but I found some valuble info also, and I am far from being new at this. Thanks for sharing the site

To anyone, whether you are personally the survivor of the rape, or a family member, friend, husband, wife, sibling - buy this book. It's called Recoving from Rape, by Linda E. Ledray. I bought this book after 11 months of suffering from the PTSD follwing my rape and this book as givin so much positive insight. It explains why you feel the way you feel, ways to help yourself, how to feel more in control, and more. Just my own advice, and I am so pleased with the book I felt I should share. Hope this helps.
