I just tried my first Maxalt today. It worked better than Imitrex, lasted longer. But now I'm starting right back to where I was. So who knows what the night will hold.

I take Maxalt. They worked very well at first but now not so good.

I recently used this system. The 7 Day Daily Cleanse has made a drastic difference in my life. I am sleeping through the night and waking up full of energy. My muscles have not been sore. I do not feel like I am walking around in a fog. I have been doing a lot around the house as well as working and I am not feeling run down at all.

I have been using Maxalt for about one year now and it's definately the best thing I've ever tried for my migraines. It helps in 30 minutes (the melt pill) and takes away the pain completely. I feel a little bit dizzy for a while but besides that I haven't experienced any side effects what so ever. I love it!

The price of this drug is astronomical. I asked my neurologist for another free sample after he'd given me the first to try. I explained to him that $100 per dose (at the time)is unaffordable and he told me it wasnt his concern.

My 9 year old son was recently prescribed Maxalt for his migraines. The first 2 times it helped with no side effects except a bit tired. The last time though, he started having the jaw pain. both sides of his lower jaw felt like he had been punched he said. We will try it a few more times and see what happens.
Every time so far though, it has decreased his migraine quite a bit, or totally got rid of it.
It is true though, to take it right at onset, in the Aura phase of the migraine. That is true for ANY triptan.

this is my migraine med of choice.I still have to take phenergan with it to combat my puking but the maxalt has kept me out of the ER for over a year.GREAT MEDICINE at least for me.

ok I finally tried my Maxalt. I actually got relief!! I was on vaca and I got a migraine and wow , with in about 40 minutes the edge was totally gone, all I was left with was a minor headache. Which to me is my normal life so I can deal with that.

I noticed some comments on the price of Maxalt. Does it really cost that much in the States? Almost 400 dollars for 12 pills, or did I understand something wrong? I pay about 30 euros for 6 pills of Maxalt and without insurance it would be about 55 euros for 6 pills. (1 USD = 1,5 euros)

I am fortunate in that my insurance pays for my maxalt and if I don't have any, my doctor will give me samples.

Maxalt was tried many years ago.
It didn't work, didn't do anything of any sort.

Didn't help me at all sorry.

This is the last triptan i have tried. The 7th actually. so unfortunately it doesn't work. Now my sister-in-law takes 1 sleeps for 2 hours wakes up and its gone. So LUCKY

I have tried the Maxalt and it worked. I had a kick butt bad migraine last night and did not take the Maxalt. I only have 2 samples left and I am afraid it I use them I will get a worse migraine and need them. this S*cks.. we have to rashin our meds. I havent gotten a pscription for them yet. after reading all of your comments I am almost scared to. I cant afford big time pills. and I have insurance.
I hate this!!!! we need the meds. they cost a fortune.. so we dont take them even when we need them.. how do we win????????

Works for me like magic. I always carry one around. Works for tough tension headaches too.
