Migraine is a neurological disease, of which the most common symptom is an intense and disabling episodic headache. Migraine headaches are usually characterized by severe pain on one or both sides of the head and are often accompanied by photophobia (hypersensitivity to light), phonophobia (hypersensitivity to sound) and nausea.

The only other med that works for my migraine is Relpax, but I only take that if I feel a severe migraine coming on. There are a lot of side effects with Relpax, but the only one I experienced was a temporary loss of feeling in my foot.
Yup, peppermint usually helps me as well but unfortunately I can't use it during the frist couple of hours because the allodynia makes it pure agony.
Do you see a family doctor, or do you see a headache specialist? If you don't see a headache specialist, you might want to consider finding one soon.
